RED Ultralight Side Handles

The pinnacle of the Plastic Fantastic series: our Ultralight Side Handles. We've designed the lightest, most minimal way to grip your RED camera, without any unnecessary bulk or weight. After dozens of prototypes and hundreds of hours of design time, we arrived at the final form you see here. These handles have been engineered for ergonomic perfection, minimal weight, and incredible strength.

Each handle tips the scales at just 42 grams, yet each handle can lift over 110lbs without issue. The handles maintain lateral clearance at the lens mount, so they won't interfere with VND adapters, and they are carefully shaped to preserve access to the camera body itself so you can still reach the menu buttons. 

Used in conjunction with our Low-Profile Monitor Clamp and Compact Top Handle, these turn your RED camera into the perfect compact rig.

Each handle is printed with a high-quality thermoplastic filament, then coated with clear enamel for UV protection and a lifetime of service. Includes steel fasteners. We recommend using a good T-handle wrench to affix them - you'll need a 3mm t-handle wrench for the Komodo's M4 screws, or a 4mm t-handle wrench for the V-Raptor's 1/4"-20 screws). Part is at full strength when assembled on-camera. Strength may be compromised if exposed to environmental temperatures higher than 110° F (43° C). 

PLEASE NOTE: Our Plastic Fantastic products are 3D-printed, and may have surface imperfections or other artifacts from the printing process. These are normal and do not affect function. We call them the Ugly Parts with a Beautiful Purpose. There's nothing else like this on the market, anywhere.
